Recent Works

"Brand" made its debut in 2014 at The Paradigm Annex Theatre as part of the MADCAP 24-hour festival, directed by Nicole Dominguez and starring Ellen D. Williams (How I Met Your Mother).

This heartbreaking play tells the tale of a single mother struggling to compete for a job in the age of self-promotion, youth culture, and social media. She considers her main strengths to be kindness and compassion, but these are put to the test when she meets a strange woman in the park.

There's marital strife in this Wisconsin farmhouse.  The middle-aged wife knows she must apologize for the hurtful things she  said to her husband the night before. But she has no idea how to begin.  And he is not making it easy for her.

In the country, sometimes the radio is the only thing available to remind you of the things you used to love, like dancing.   "Rural Radio" is a one-act comedy about lost and recovered dreams among the no-longer young.

IN DEVELOPMENT

What does carrying deadly weapons do to a woman's self confidence and personal freedom?  Do guns help women fight their demons, or just give them voice?  In "Photo Shoot," three women with divergent views of the Open Carry movement meet on a crowded beach in California.  What happens next in this short play may make you question your assumptions about people who carry.

"Photo Shoot" premiered in August, 2014 at the Paradigm Annex in Sheboygan, WI.  It was written for the second annual Mad Yarn 24-hour playfest.
